Jackrabbit Indexing after every server restart
Whenever we restart the JBosss server and try to get a JackRabbit
Session,JackRabbit goes into indexing mode for a good 30 to 45 minutes. It
happenson every restart. I am not sure what we are doing wrong. Shouldn't
theseindex be stored some where and reused? Why is it re-indexing each
timeserver restarts. I appreciate any help.
our environment is Jackrabbit 2.8.X -File storage and JBoss EAP 6 server.
Here are the logs during indexing and the repository.xml

Where do you specify Jackrabbit to store the indexes in the file system? I am
not even sure if this log is from Indexing. This is logged for every minute
till this process ends. What is this "AbstractBundlePersistenceManager"
class for?

Hi !
Jackrabbit should not index every time it starts up.
The index should be stored in the file System where your repository home is.
greets
claus.
