Ambari groups won't sync if the base dn is different from the base DN where users are grabbed from. 

Essentially, if the base DN that grabs the user is in the OU=Dev,OU=IT,DC=example,dc=com, the user will pull all the users from this OU correctly, but won't pull the groups if the base DN for the groups is, for example, ou=groups,dc=example,dc=com.

It would be ideal if there's a separate group Base DN that amabri could pull from as oppose to the base DN that grabs the users.
