Problem creating account on MWiki

I tried posting this to the doc mailing list, but I kept getting a message back that it was "unavailable." Hoping I can find someone on this list to help. 

I had no trouble creating an 
account for the CWiki. When I tried to create an account for the MWiki, 
however, the create account page did not display the pictures of cats 
and dogs. When I tried to create the account anyway, I got the following
 message: "Incorrect or missing confirmation code."

This happened with Firefox running on Windows 7, and with Firefox and 
Chrome running on XP SP3. On Internet Explorer on both Windows 7 and XP, the cat and dog pictures displayed, and I was able to select the cats 
and fill out the form, but when I clicked the "create account" button, I got the same message: "Incorrect or missing confirmation code."

I went to the Asirra web site and tried the "pick 
the cats" test there. It displayed and worked properly in Firefox on XP 
(did not have a chance to check other configurations). I have not 
disabled javascript in any browser that I use.

Would you help me, please? Let me know if there is any information you need that I have missed.

This is a known problem, unfortunately. It has already been discussed on 
this dev list and we are mostly aware of steps that would fix (or work 
around) it. But this is part of a larger maintenance currently under 
discussion and hopefully to be implemented at the beginning of 2014.

I can create mwiki accounts skippings the Cats and Dogs test. I created 
an account named "swhupp" for you. You should receive an activation link 
or anyway you should be able to reset your password at 
https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Special:PasswordReset

Please let us know if this worked, so that we can temporarily use manual 
account activation when users report that registration is not working 
for them.
