[Bug 123981] New: Fake crash error recovery message on opening

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123981

            Bug ID: 123981
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Fake crash error recovery message on opening
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.0.1
          Hardware: Mac
                OS: Mac OSX, 10.9
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: open-import
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: business@yogaforall.org
                CC: issues@openoffice.apache.org

After upgrading to Mavericks on my MacBook Air I decided to once again try the
upgrade from 3.4.1 to 4.0.1. I tried this upgrade with Mountain Lion and found
it to be problematic with my 8000 page document written in Devanagari. I
downgraded back to 3.4.1 and eventually the document stabilized. So after
upgrading to Mavericks I decided to once again try 4.0.1.

This time document seems to be loading and working correctly. However every
time upon opening the document in OpenOffice I get an error message and this
error may also arrive for this very same 8000 page document when opening other
documents. Yet the recovery is fake, nothing happens and the selected document
opens.

Thing is I know it did not crash last time. I know it is not needing recovery.
Yet if it did need recovery it would take up to minutes to recover but here it
needs only a fraction of a second and the "recovery" is over and the document
opens as if nothing had happened (needing recovery.)

One more thing to mention is that it creates an invisible icon as an alias for
this 8000 pager on the desktop. I have never seen this before - a bit spooky,
no? I will ask about this as a separated issue.

Otherwise all seems to be well. The document, as so far I can tell, is running
better than ever and loads more quickly.
