SIS confluence wiki
Hey Guys,
I don't think we ever requested a wiki during our initial proposal. So, I've requested one:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4141
Once we get the Wiki, I'm going to document how to do something with SIS 0.1-incubating.
That something will be:
1. Load some data into Apache OODT
- HDF data likely, with data points (lat, lon, value, time)
- use Tika + HDF5/NetCDF parser to get the data points out
2. Spit out GeoRSS from Apache OODT
- set up FMprod with an XML conf file, spit out data points
3. Load GeoRSS data source into Apache SIS
- build Quad Tree Index
4. Query the index using Google Maps provided demo.jsp WAR file
and using REST location service
After I do this on the wiki, I'm going to put up a Wiki page including the
REST spec for the current 0.1-incubating SIS QTree index location service,
and then add in what I proposed as a more 0.2-incubating REST-ful JAX-RS
interface.
Cheers,
Chris
