[jira] Closed: (OFBIZ-19) webtools jsp removal (started but now stopped)

David E. Jones closed OFBIZ-19:
-------------------------------

    Fix Version: SVN trunk
     Resolution: Fixed

This patch plus the changes described in my comment are now in SVN rev 7772.

Note for future: to expedite application of patches, please commit things that are tested and for new functionality things that make good sense and are consistent.

Why does it take so long to get patches applied? Other than the fact that the person committing it is doing you a favor with no compensation, and therefore has to in effect pay to get it in, it also takes lots of time to review and fix and clean up patches that are not well done.

Patches that have been reviewed by others are about 100 times more attractive because issues tend to already be worked out. So, if you aren't sure if you've done a good job with your patch, send a message to the mailing lists and ask people to review it.

> attached a first step to remove the jsp files. A appl menu is inserted using menus.xml, but also in the header.ftl to keep it operational in the mean time.
> Because i have other patches to the framework which get in the way and which do not seem to get in after several requests, i stop now working on the framework until they do. It is at the moment too cumbersome to update the framework.
