[jira] [Resolved] (KUDU-390) More test/benchmark coverage for
compaction policies
Will Berkeley resolved KUDU-390.
--------------------------------
Resolution: Done
Assignee: Todd Lipcon
Fix Version/s: 1.0.0
It looks like this was addressed a long time ago with compaction_policy-test, which contains both canned test cases and a benchmark built from real-life input rowsets. Test and benchmark coverage can always be improved, but I think that's enough to call this ancient issue done.

> We have very little coverage of the compaction policy doing the "right thing". Most of the unit tests either manually call compaction (with FORCE_COMPACT_ALL) or don't actually verify that compaction's doing the right thing. Having some canned test cases and benchmarks would be nice.
