[users@httpd] ^M in my httpd.conf file

I just opened my httpd.conf file and I have at the end of all my lines a ^M.

And idea how this happened and how I fix it.  I have own seen this 
before if you open a DOS file in Linux. But I have not done anything to 
my file I think.
