[jira] [Created] (MAHOUT-969) testclassifier should check if the
model file actually exists
testclassifier should check if the model file actually exists
--------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MAHOUT-969
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAHOUT-969
Project: Mahout
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Integration
Affects Versions: 0.6
Reporter: Stuart Smith
Priority: Minor
The ./mahout testclassifier command for naive bayes does not check if the -model argument actually exists on the hdfs file system.
If it does not exist, it appears to run successfully, but generates all zeroes in the results.

I have to sync the latest code & check, but you're most likely right.
Let me check if it still applies & resubmit a new patch.

Can this be a patch? It's not clear what is changed by you and what diffs are drift since HEAD versions have changed.
