org/xml/sax

Hi.

I'm in the process of installing the tomcat package with the apache
web server on a redhat 6.1 machine. I've gotten as far as getting
the connector module configured into the web server, but in
attempting to start the tomcat service [tomcat.sh start] am getting
a class not found error for a class that seemingly originates with
xml.org. I'm using the 3.0 release, rather than a nightly build.
Java package is blackdown 1.1.7v3.

here's the trace:

Using classpath:
./webserver.jar:./lib/servlet.jar:./lib/jasper.jar:./lib/xml.jar:/usr/local/java
/jdk117_v3/lib/tools.jar:.:/usr/local/java/jdk117_v3/lib/classes.zip:/usr/local/
java/util:/usr/local/java/util/solid30JDBC.zip
# Tomcat Web Server Version 3.0
Loaded configuration from: file:/opt/tomcat/server.xml
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/xml/sax/InputSource
        at org.apache.tomcat.shell.deployment.Config.loadConfig(Config.java:174)
        at org.apache.tomcat.shell.deployment.Config.loadConfig(Config.java:143)
        at org.apache.tomcat.shell.deployment.Config.loadConfig(Config.java:115)
        at org.apache.tomcat.shell.Startup.getConfig(Startup.java:386)
        at org.apache.tomcat.shell.Startup.configure(Startup.java:110)
        at org.apache.tomcat.shell.Startup.main(Startup.java:355)

So, it is apparent that I'm missing a package or two here, if you
could point me in the right direction as far as procuring these items,
and any others I might run into later, that would be great.

Thanks,
Gregg Siegfried

If you download the ant stuff from the tomcat site the xml.jar is located in
there.
