There are a number of places where the interface between VMs and the Harmony class library have been modified to enhance the VM/classlib integration.

These places need to be documented so that VM porters' effort is not wasted implementing deprecated functionality, and a date set by which the classlibrary / DRLVM code is updated to remove the obsolete functionality.
