   I agree with your comment above.  The high frequency changes concern me also.  When you see in the logs that the code is actually processing the changes in the proper consecutive order it is pretty amazing.  In a large network with a little latency the watch events might not inform all the tservers as perfectly as they do on a 5 node cluster in EC2.
