Presenting Developer Snapshots

Hello,

at http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html

we offer Developer Snapshots. The link point to an old version from End
of Oktober.

I suggest to link to the nightly builds.

IIRC there was a discussion that ended in not promoting Developer
Snapshots in the user portal, so this should be removed. QA people can
find the needed information at the project portal
(http://openoffice.apache.org).

The builds at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/Development+Snapshot+Builds
are built by Jürgen (Win/MacOS) and me (Linux), and they have the same
build configuration that will be used on a future release.

The nightly builds are built by the build bots, and have different set
up (for example, the Linux system requirements are quite high on the
build bots, making that the builds might not work on some Linux
distributions; and due to bug
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=121456 the Win set-up
needed for a release might not be easy to reproduce in the build bots).

Hi Mechtilde,

  The link[1] is pointed to a latest snapshot build which has been test by
volunteer already, but the link[2] is pointed to a nightly build, there is
insufficient test against it, so we cannot recommend it to our users.
