[jira] [Created] (NIFI-14570) Retain Snapshot Timestamp in Serialized JSON from Git Registry Clients
David Handermann created NIFI-14570:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Retain Snapshot Timestamp in Serialized JSON from Git Registry Clients
Key: NIFI-14570
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-14570
Project: Apache NiFi
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Extensions
Reporter: David Handermann
Assignee: David Handermann
Flow Registry Clients such as GitHub and GitLab implementations clear several snapshot metadata properties before serializing and persisting the JSON flow definition in order to minimize changes committed to the repository. The timestamp field is replaced on retrieval using the Git Commit Time, however, retaining the timestamp in the JSON itself can be a useful status indicator when viewing JSON flow definitions. The Git Flow Registry abstraction implementation should be updated to retain the timestamp information.
