[jira] [Resolved] (HADOOP-2454) Run Hadoop inside or from the Eclipse plug-in

Harsh J resolved HADOOP-2454.
-----------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem

I do not know about OSGi integration but after mavenization in 0.23+, running Hadoop from inside Eclipse is very simple to do (from a dev POV).

I'll resolve this as it is now stale, but I hope to come up with a wiki page or instruction mail for some stuff around this on the email lists soon.

> To ease experimentation with Hadoop, this would allow an Eclipse user to start Hadoop from the Eclipse plug-in. One way to do this is to start Hadoop inside Eclipse; Hadoop will then be packaged as an OSGi bundle and run inside an OSGi container (see HADOOP-1844).
