   @parisni Any pending instant in the active timeline of the data table blocks the compaction in the metadata table.  It's likely that there's a pending instant in the active timeline.  Could you share the complete timeline of the data table (`table/.hoodie/`) and metadata table (`table/.hoodie/metadata/.hoodie`) for debugging purposes?
