[jira] [Commented] (MESOS-4135) Labels are not return in statusUpdate TaskStatus

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-4135?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15671248#comment-15671248 ]

Greg Mann commented on MESOS-4135:
----------------------------------

Another reason this ticket could be useful is in a cluster which uses hook modules to modify the labels on tasks before they are launched. In these cases, the status update would be an easy way for the framework to receive labels that it is not otherwise aware of.

> Labels that were set in the task's TaskInfo upon creation are not returned in statusUpdate TaskStatus messages.
> This restricts their usefulness. Use case would be maintaining the container version of a running task.
