   In Hop 2.19 the **REST Connection** metadata now includes settings for using a proxy to connect.
   
   When using a "proxied" connection in a **REST Client**, the proxy settings in it are now disabled. If specified in a previous version of Hop, they are also ignored and need to be specified/moved in the selected connection.
   
   _(yep, this is an auto-resolved bug... feel free to discard or use it to update any relevant documentation 😅)_

   I agree... and, personally, I prefer the new approach too :)
   
   In the remote case you need different proxy settings for the same connection, you can still workaround by using variables and environments... ;)

   The options to mix and match the connection settings and local settings were overly complex and made testing a nightmare (it also caused an avalanche of tickets).
   So I decided you have to pick one or the other: either drive all options from the connection or manually specify everything inside the transform.
   
   But you are right that it isn't really documented this way.
