[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-4581) Fuzzy search for autocompleting variable names

Los Vitaly created NETBEANS-4581:
------------------------------------

Summary: Fuzzy search for autocompleting variable names
                 Key: NETBEANS-4581
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-4581
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Improvement
Components: editor - Search, platform - Quick Search
    Affects Versions: 12.0
            Reporter: Los Vitaly
         Attachments: search.gif

It does not matters search for variable, method, class or CSS selectors. NB search only strait for given characters, unlike other IDE or editors.

Can fuzzy search be implemented in Netbeans? I made GIF for different behavior in VSCode and Netbeans
