heh: just hit this with my [cloudstore|https://github.com/steveloughran/cloudstore] module; a {{hadoop jar cloudstore-2.8}} just failed with CNFE.
I can work round this easily enough by moving off the library, but as the code is meant to run standalone from Hadoop 2.7+, it is going to cause problems for others doing the same thing —that is, expecting the JAR in hadoop/lib
