I'm trying to access the demos but neither of them is working. Both https
://bh-demo2.apache.org/ and https://bh-demo1.apache.org/ return a 502
error. Follows the msg from my browser.

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /.

I know it happened before, I searched trough a lot os posts but seems this
is a recurrent problem that is not yet fixed. And nothing fixes itself, or
the system is rolling back to a previus state or some human is fixing it.
Im trying to install it on my VM but im still strugling with the steps.
Anyway i hope someone fixes this error.

Ok really apreciate your help, but i feel that bloodhound is dying. The
setup guide is confuse, the demo sites stay off for days. I checked the
development activity and seems that theres nothing happening. Anyway Im
going to try OpenProject.

I would probably come to the same conclusions as you. We need to do a
better job in keeping the demo site up, as well increasing development
activity.
The demo site is down today, or may have been down since this ticket was
filed.

You are right. Unfortunately I can't help you with the on-line demo.
However, if you want to use [https://www.vagrantup.com/ vagrant], you can
take a look at #796 or the project I created at
https://github.com/wimh/bloodhound/tree/vagrant#vagrant-deployment (the
puppet script should also work standalone) Maybe that is an acceptable
workaround? (note that I did not test it recently....)
