[jira] [Created] (PDFBOX-1165) Xmpbox does not accept
rdf:description without rdf:about attribute
Xmpbox does not accept rdf:description without rdf:about attribute
------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: PDFBOX-1165
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-1165
Project: PDFBox
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: XmpBox
Reporter: Guillaume Bailleul
Assignee: Guillaume Bailleul
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 1.7.0
Attachments: rdfabout_tolerance.patch
While working on jempbox and xmpbox merge, I generated an xmp with jempbox that was not readable by xmpbox.
In xmp specification part 1 [1], page 19, rdf:about attribute is defined as mandatory in the rdf:description element. But for compatibility reason a parser should tolerate a missing attribute.
The attached patch add this tolerance for xmpbox.
