In theory, the DNS setup for apachecon.com and apachecon.eu should be much the same - both registered via infra, both with zone files in the infra repo etc

As reported on apachecon-discuss@, the apachecon.eu one seems to somehow have got broken. Checking the web whois <http://www.eurid.eu/en/whois-search> shows it as still being registered. However, something's wrong, and you can't query the NS servers for it (and hence all other query types fail too)

"nslookup -query=ns apachecon.com" works fine

"nslookup -query=ns apachecon.eu" fails to get a response
