CVS, Subversion and Power Designer

Good day everyone!

            I just have a simple question, will Subversion and CVS
communicate between each other? I understand that Subversion is an
"upgrade" from CVS, we have a tool (Power Designer) that uses CVS but
want to use Subversion for other things.

            Thinking about it now, would it be possible to use
Subversion with Power Designer?

No, Subversion is by no means an upgrade of CVS. It's not CVS
re-designed and reimplemented. It has taken CVS's philosophy on
version control and has implemented all the consequences of that
philosophy from the ground up.

Only if someone provides a Power Designer (whatever that may be)
plugin to cooperate with Subversion directly.
