[jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-2356) VMs deployed as user, cloudstack assigned password do not work

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-2356?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13651771#comment-13651771 ]

Wei Zhou commented on CLOUDSTACK-2356:
--------------------------------------

CS works on a host, but des not work on another host.
There is a wrong rule in iptables.
After re-deploy the host, CS works.

I will close this issue at first.
My colleague will test the upgrade from 2.2.14 to 4.1.0 to see whether the wrong rule will appear again.
if it appears again, I will reopen this issue.

> Hi,
> In the upgraded environment, as root, I can create VMs and they get deployed properly, the cloudstack assigned password in the template work fine.
> But if I login as a user and create VMs, the VMs get deployed, but the cloudstack assigned password does not work, nor does egress firewall. When I stop the VM and do a "Reset Password", I receive the new password. But starting the VM and trying to use the password does not work.
> This all work fine if the login is admin.
> This issue is when the login is not an admin but a user.
> Thanks,
> Shashi
