making local read requests
Alex Petrov updated CASSANDRA-15062:
------------------------------------
Component/s: (was: Test/dtest/python)
Test/dtest/java
> Use the correct readCommand when making local read requests
> -----------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: CASSANDRA-15062
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-15062
> Project: Cassandra
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Test/dtest/java

> Priority: Normal
> Fix For: 3.0.x, 3.11.x, 4.x

> We are currently not using the provided {{readCommand}} when doing local requests in {{AbstractReadExecutor.makeRequests}} - in trunk this makes us lose the {{acceptsTransient}} flag and in other versions it makes us do data reads instead of digest ones (which is not a problem but a bit confusing considering the log message)
