[jira] [Created] (SOLR-9465) When creating collection with basic authentication enabled, some nodes get in recovery mode and are inaccessible

Michael Ioannidis created SOLR-9465:
---------------------------------------

Summary: When creating collection with basic authentication enabled, some nodes get in recovery mode and are inaccessible
                 Key: SOLR-9465
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-9465
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Default Security Level. Issues are Public)
          Components: Authentication
    Affects Versions: 6.2, 5.5.2
         Environment: Centos 7
Java 8
Zookeeper 3.4.8
            Reporter: Michael Ioannidis
            Priority: Critical

Without Basic Authentication enabled, we are able to create as many collections we can.
Once we enable it, in every collection we create, 2 out of 3 nodes get locked and the collection is not accessible from the API. The leader is the one who stays active. The rest of the nodes are at first in recovery state and then to down state.
