Axis2 1.4 and JDK 1.4?

Hello,

We are currently running Axis2 1.3 on WebSphere 6 w/JDK 1.4 and I am
trying to determine if Axis2 1.4 will run in this environment or if it
requires JDK 1.5. We are planning to upgrade to Websphere 6.1 and JDK 1.5
in the not too distant future, so really just trying to see if the Axis2
upgrade to 1.4 is tied to that.

Thanks,
Wally

Also, Wally, please keep in mind that versions starting with 1.5 *will*
require JDK 1.5+. The upcoming 1.4.1 release will be fine on JDK 1.4,
but once 1.5 comes out we'll be dropping JDK1.4 support.

Thanks,
--Glen

Axis2 1.4 will work on JDK 1.4/1.5/1.6. Some features that need later jdk's will need to be disabled when running under 1.4

thanks,
dims
