When testing max_unavailable_server_retries with 6.2, we set 6 parents that were not reachable by the child, using consistent_hash. We set max_unavailable_server_retries to 2,3, and 4, and launched ATS with the parent debug tag. We saw the child fail to connect to the 1st parent, then retry to a 2nd parent, but never to a 3rd.
