[jira] [Created] (OPENMEETINGS-359) Conference room menu option "Send invitation" to allow selection from Openmeetings users from a user group

George Kirkham created OPENMEETINGS-359:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Conference room menu option "Send invitation" to allow selection from Openmeetings users from a user group
                 Key: OPENMEETINGS-359
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-359
             Project: Openmeetings
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: BuildsAndReleases
Affects Versions: 2.0 Apache Incubator Release, 2.1 Apache Incubator Release
         Environment: Openmeetings 2.x
            Reporter: George Kirkham
            Assignee: SebastianWagner
            Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.0 Apache Incubator Release, 2.1 Apache Incubator Release

Conference room menu option "Actions" -> "Send invitation" should allow selection from Openmeetings users just as the Calendar "Invite people" dialog does, as well as being able to invite someone by email address.

Currently you can only invite people by providing their First and Last names, and email address.

Sometimes you may not remember their email address and/or it is easy to make a typo but if you can select them from a list, that is much easier.

Being able to select a particular "user group" and then select from people within that "user group" would be an excellent enhancement too. The default user group being the user group that you yourself are currently logged into.
