newbie: SOAP Encoding vs Literal XML
hello all,
hope this question is not a rtfm one:
why is there a need for literal xml encoding? according to the specs, soap
encoding supports strings, so why just not serialize a soap document into a
string and transfer it using ordinary soap encoding?
is this a matter of efficiency, or would the suggested approach not even
work? in such case, why, and what other limitations are there to string
transfered using soap encoding?
