OSCON tutorial (Apache Derby: PHP, Python, and Perl) now online

Hello:

The materials from my OSCON tutorial (slides, handouts, and solutions)
are now available from
http://coffeecode.net/archives/16-Apache-Derby-tutorial-OSCON-2005-materials.html

The material was based on the 10.1-alpha release, so it is reasonably
up-to-date. If anyone bases their own tutorials on this material, I
would recommend taking an hour for each section and having all of the
downloads available on disk; 45 minutes per section with spotty
wireless coverage was just too tight.

I added it to the Instruction section in
http://db.apache.org/derby/papers/index.html and also to the OSCON 2005
section in http://db.apache.org/derby/papers/MiscPresentations.html .

It'll take ~2 hours for the changes to become live.

thanks!

If you find hosting pulled out from under you, feel free to contribute
it to Derby for us to host here. Just open a new Jira issue with the
component set to "Web Site". Upload the wad with the "Attach file to
this issue" option -- it will prompt you to click on "Grant license to
ASF for inclusion in ASF works", which is the permission we would need
in place to host it on the derby web site.

cheers,

Jean:

As long as I pay my hosting fees, I expect it to be a permanent URL :)
If I switch to some other blogging technology, I will ensure that I
include the appropriate redirects.

I would be delighted to have the tutorial added to the Instruction section.

Dan,

Is this URL permanent? If it is, I'd like to add it to the Instruction
section on http://db.apache.org/derby/papers/index.html .
