[DISCUSS] release owb-1.1.3?

Hi folks!

I'd like to ship a release of OWB soon.
Is there any particular thing you are currently working on?

I'm especially interested in OWB-625 [1] hitting the road as this makes using OWB with Arquillian and Seam almost impossible.

If no ones is crying stop then I'll start the release job on Friday.

Yes, I saw your comment. And I think Pete already updated his pull
request so that @Requires now requires the FQCN as a String:

https://github.com/jboss/cdi/pull/52/files#diff-0

Regarding OWB for CDI 1.0: I think the decision that has to be made is
whether a single class that cannot be loaded should be treated as a
fatal deployment error (like it is done currently) or if OWB could
just ignore that class with a warning (like implemented in my patch).
Would doing the latter one have any impact on the compliance with the
spec?

Thanks! :)

Christian

Have you seen my comment in the corresponding CDI tracker? Pete reopened it and we must search for a better solution.

Posted by Christian Kaltepoth <ch...@kaltepoth.de>.
Hi all,

although not being an OWB committer I would like to rise my voice here. :)

Any chance that somebody could take a look at OWB-629 [1] before
starting the 1.1.3 release? I think this issue may also be a major
blocker for users that want to use OWB together with Seam3. I ran into
this issue while I tried to reproduce some OWB + Seam compatibility
problems people reported for Seam Faces.

A patch is already attached to the issue and I hope that my comments
clarify a bit what is going wrong.

Best regards

Christian
