Save the date for the second OpenEJB get-together

Hi all,

As you may know, we are organizing the second annual OpenEJB get-together.

This year, it will take place in France (Tours).

Date: from April 18th to the end of the week

I can facilitate a list of nice hotels and travel plans to anyone willing to
join us

Tours has an airport with regular flights from/to London and a TGV train
line from/to Paris.

During the week, we’d like to spend some time discussing some interesting
topics (Java EE/OSGi and OpenEJB, TomEE, the OpenEJB web profile
distribution).

Then, we can hack as much as possible and also get some beers in the
evening.

I'm also trying to organize one day off to visit some famous castles around
the Loire river and the Da Vinci museum in Amboise where he died.

Remember the date and please, let me know if you plan to come to the party.

Again, I can arrange something to find hotels, …

Everybody (users, contributors, committers, etc) are more than welcome to
join.

See you.
Jean-Louis

Hi all,

here is what I have in mind for next week.
- 3.2.x branches
  - finish tests
  - prepare first release
- 4.0.x branches
  - continu to work on certification process

I also plan to work on some tasks:
- JIRA clean up (some issues are very old and no more relevant)
- work on Shawn's patches
- update the transaction management to also propagate the root cause
(following TxManager updated by David J.)
- achieve Tomcat refactoring
- work on jetty integration
- JAX-RS support first try

I also would like to spend half a day (on Wednesday) to talk about JEE and
OSGi in a general point of view. Then, if it makes sense, I'd like to try to
use OpenEJB with Felix/Karaf .

By the way, I would also appreciate if we can talk about the OpenEJB
architecture. Some parts are still a bit "blured".

On Monday, I propose to discuss the agenda.
For example, may be we can go to the museum on Wednesday evening (with a
barbecue at home?) and on Friday try to visit some castles or so.

See you guys.
Jean-Louis

Hi guys!
I wish I had a chance to meet all of you this time. I will go the Europe
this year, but one week later (Italia!) for a romantic trip with my wife.

Enjoy "La France", guys! It is a beautiful country!
