Have anyone heard anything about a patch?

If I can skip the tests, then I can wait longer (tested the stuff
yesterday, nothing have changed after that).

The I'll wait (I will go and listen to Jethro Tull's Songs from the wood
for a start :-)

The time is around 19:40 (CET) here so I will wait approx 2 hours. Then I
will finish the branch (quickly) and do the tests (around 1:05 H).

Jostein, IMHO wait as long as you can to see if anyone posts a patch
to update the Win32 build instructions... But then if it's getting
late, and still no patch, just go ahead and roll the 0.34 tarball. We
do want to get it out today, and it's not like this is a code bug.

(My reasoning is that most users seem to be using packages or
installers anyway, and getting 0.34 out there allows the packagers to
get to work. It's not a tragedy if this installation doc glitch has
to wait until 0.35.)

Thanks Jani, that's a nice offer, but you don't have to this time :-)
I have myself have done the make * at least twice since the last code
change.

Thanks! :-)

If you like, I would try to test a whole or part of your release
branch, if this makes things anyhow easier to you. I am online about
1500-1700 and 1700->(2300) UTC-0700.

I'll wait. It doesn't matter where it's committed. I have to copy it to
trunk or the 0.34.0 branch anyway :-)

Hmm, It's shower time..

I'll try to do it in the next 1/2 hour, and I'll commit the change
directly to the 0.34.0 branch. Is that O.K.?

Does it take long time? If not, then I'll hold the release..

Hm, I guess Branko didn't see my mail yesterday. I really wish we could
get coherent win32 build instructions into the 0.34 tarball. Is anyone
else qualified to fix the INSTALL file, and explain the perl-script
thing?
