[site] In Harmony with Eclipse
Guys,
as you remember we've created a bundle of Harmony M1 and Eclipse 3.2
[1] in the end of April.
But there is no kinks from Harmony site to this project... I think we
should fix this.
Any ideas where to place the link to this bundle?

Yes, I think that we need more attention :)

Ok, let's agree on additional page.

That particular statement is misleading IMHO, but I know what you mean.

Alexey suggests a new page for packaged bundles. I can see the point
and why it is desirable. But I have a small niggle that this is scope
creep for the Harmony project. We should be busy producing source code.

Hi,
I've no strong opinion on this discussion, but it seems appropriate to
add the link to eclipse+harmony bundle in the Related project page.
If we think we want more attention to this bundle, we can also add a
note to the Downloads page:
"Apache Harmony JRE is now shipped with Eclipse, see Related Projects
page for details on this bundle and downloads location." - or something
like that.
Cheers,
Nadya

Because we are not sure that all the projects we will want to bundle
with are using Harmony ;)

Why "bundles"? Don't you think "projects using Harmony" is enough?

Yes, that's a better idea. Create a new page with links to downloads
for Harmony bundled with <product foo>, where foo is something that is a
current popular open source project release (under a license we can
redistribute from the ASF), that has been tested and shown to work well
on Harmony.

I think 'downloads' should remain for code that is produced by our
regular builds, i.e. the Java runtime/development kit.

Tim

We can create additional page in this case for Harmony bundles with
other projects.
I doubt that someone will go to "related" page while searching for bundles.
In bundles are products of this project too. Right? :)

Let's keep that for the products of this project.
