How to adjust the emitting rate of storm-hdfs spout?

Hello All,

I am using storm-hdfs spout (
https://github.com/apache/storm/tree/master/external/storm-hdfs) to emit
tuples stored in hdfs.

Is there any way to limit the emitting rate of hdfs spout?

It seems that the hdfs spout will emit tuples continuously without any stop.
