[jira] [Commented] (HBASE-25320) Upgrade hbase-thirdparty dependency to 3.4.1

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-25320?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17241757#comment-17241757 ]

Michael Stack commented on HBASE-25320:
---------------------------------------

Looking at the thirdparty jar, it looks right regards target compile: "javap -v ./org/apache/hbase/thirdparty/com/google/protobuf/Enum.class|grep major
 major version: 51"

Building the thirdparty w/ rel/3.4.1 tag using jdk8, I don't get the above error anymore.

Let me look at updating the published binary.
