Regarding subdirs: which subdirs do you mean?
There are several subdirs which are created as part of the build process (B in the list of dirs below), but otherwise AFAIK all the subdirs are for individual sites.

It might be easier going forward if there were a clear separation between the Incubator parent site and individual podlings.

For example, perhaps the incubator site could be moved to a site/ subdirectory (probably easier than moving all the podlings).

If that is agreed, it might be easier to fix before moving to svnpubsub?
