How to edit an issue in jira
Hi,
I've just created the issue SM-1236 in Jira, but i forget to set the fields
Components
Affect version
Is there a way to edit the issue?? I'm not able to do this.

Thank you, Ron, I stand corrected. Reporters can now edit issues.

Hi,
I believe JIRA can be configured to give the Reporter "Edit Issue"
permission so that he/she can edit the issues he/she creates. Is there a
reason why the SMX JIRA is not configured to provide this capability?

JIRA doesn't provide a way for the person who filed an issue to be
able to edit that issue. And allowing anyone to edit any issue is not
a good idea because it would allow for abuse. Therefore, editing
issues is restricted to project committers only. Please let me know
which version this issue affects and I'll make the changes for you.
