C++ implementation of SOAP

I'm new to this list and I've noticed that the only two implementations
of SOAP that I've found are Microsoft's and IBM's, which Apache is now
enhancing. MS's version is COM centric and IBM's is in Java. Is
there anyone in Apache group that is making a C++ version of SOAP? It
could be significantly modeled after the IBM Java version.

Thanks much,

Apache C++ coding standards

Posted by ldo <ld...@theriver.com>.
Does Apache have a set of C++ coding standards that they recommend using
for code submitted?
I've noticed that Xerces C++ uses things like:
- All class data members begin with "f".
- All member functions begin with lower case.
- A custom string class is used rather than the Standard C++ Library
wstring and string directly.

Is it okay to use the Standard C++ Library and all the containers like
vector, list etc?
Are templates avoided to achieve portability and compatibility?

Has Apache formalized all these things or is it just done by looking at as
much code on the Apache website as possible and gleening the standards that
you observe?

Thanks much,
