The most recent file in http://dev.apache.org/from-cvs/
is much larger (3.4M) that the others (986K)

That because the file is now a capturing a lot more stuff (1214 files vs 698
files) than it was.  Intentional? - I need to know before I start revising my
scripts.  It looks like it is capturing one or two up in the directory tree from
what it was.

Also... some of these look inapproprate:

I think it would be good to delete some of the revisions in CHANGES, and STATUS
from time to time.

I'd assumed this was "lets change CVS names" project, but...

This was due to my changing the names of the CVS tree & ben's taritup file
without thinking things through.  It's fixed now, and a new file is
available in from-cvs.
