Re: Notification: Community Meeting @ Fri Jul 1, 2016 6am - 7am (Apache Mesos)

Hi all,
I hate to say, I failed to host the sync again at this time slot last
night! After a long day at the office, I came home and was actually sitting
at my computer the entire time! :-( Jay Guo, I notice that you were on
Slack asking about the meeting - I apologize, I even had Slack open but I
wasn't watching the Mesos channels. Were there any other folks hoping to
meet?

Since we've gained many new contributors in recent months, perhaps it's
good to take a poll on the general interest in community syncs at this time
slot. How many people out there are interested in attending future
community sync meetings at 9pm GMT-7?

Also, a thought on time slots: 9pm GMT-7 is late for the western US, and
early for western Europe, where many Mesos contributors are located. We
could also try rotating through times that are slightly earlier and later,
so that the meeting would occur toward the end of the work day in the
western US, or at the beginning of the work day in western Europe.

Again, sorry for dropping the ball a second time. I hope there weren't too
many folks waiting around!
Greg

Hi Greg,

No problem, just wanted to see what's going on in the community.

One way or another, some people somewhere in this world would suffer a bit
and +1 for the idea of rotating. Personally I don't mind staying up late
(which I always do anyway) or get up early once a while.

Cheers,
/J
