   This umbrella issue groups the open issues related to **Projects & environments (projects plugin, lifecycle environments, PROJECT_HOME)** so they can be reviewed, prioritized and fixed together.
   
   Bugs and UX gaps in the projects plugin: PROJECT_HOME / home-folder variable resolution (locally and on remote servers), environment naming, duplication, config-file selection and validation, sharing/exporting project + environment definitions, project grouping/renaming/search, and outdated projects/environments docs.
   
   Please add new related issues to the list below and close this one when all sub-items are resolved or deliberately declined.
