As of now the Travis build fails regularly as it's unable to provide a version-stable build environment.

Issue was reported via
https://travis-ci.community/t/chosen-jdk-for-build-is-not-honoured-as-javac-and-java-binaries-differ-in-versions/3591
Problem is rooted in upstream Ubuntu's version choosing.

Kamil Breguła suggested using a docker build environment via mailing list on 2019-11-03.
