[GitHub] [beam] kennknowles opened a new issue, #18971: Better error message for golang non-concrete types

kennknowles opened a new issue, #18971:
URL: https://github.com/apache/beam/issues/18971

Currently I get an error like:

panic: type value main.Foo must be a concrete type

It would be helpful to tell me the name of the field in Foo that's causing the problem.

Imported from Jira [BEAM-5199](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEAM-5199). Original Jira may contain additional context.
   Reported by: ribrdb.
