ConvertingWrapDynaBean should accept as constructor parameter a custom BeanUtilsBean and use that instead of the static BeanUtils.

like so:

BeanUtilsBean beanUtils;

public ConvertingWrapDynaBean(Object instance, BeanUtilsBean beanUtils) {
  super(instance);
  this.beanUtils = beanUtils;
}

public ConvertingWrapDynaBean(Object instance) {
  this(instance, new BeanUtilsBean);
}
