[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-20651) Expose short read protection read count via nodetool tablestats
Caleb Rackliffe created CASSANDRA-20651:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: Expose short read protection read count via nodetool tablestats
Key: CASSANDRA-20651
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-20651
Project: Apache Cassandra
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Feature/SAI, Legacy/Local Write-Read Paths, Tool/nodetool
Reporter: Caleb Rackliffe
Assignee: Caleb Rackliffe
We already expose general read counts and speculative read counts, but there are some pathological conditions, especially around SAI and filtering queries that require reconciliation, where we would issue many more short-read protection reads than desirable. This should be somewhat mitigated by for CASSANDRA-20639 for mostly repaired data, but it would still be helpful for visibility.
