Calcite adapater for alternate cube storage

Hi,

How much effort it requires to develop a calcite adapter for storage and
Query on other then HBase? e.g. using cassandra, couchbase or maprdb?
problem is we can't have hbase cluster for kylin as we already have other
nosql database deployed.
