   Hi @dunkymole 
   The PR doesn't seem finished (open questions and writing to the console in the code) and I think it is better solved using ping/pong. Right now DotPulsar responds to a ping from the broker, but I think we need to also send pings and use that to see if there is a connection issue.
   I'll implement a solution before the next release.
